In the TAPPS 2A basketball semifinals in Texas Beren Academy, an Orthodox Jewish school, refused to play the game as it was scheduled to take place after sunset on Friday which is the start of the Sabbath. The school board refused to reschedule the time which meant Beren Academy would have to forfeit. Is this what is mean by sportsmanship?http://bit.ly/zyDA6n

Chevy Volt and President Obama: He's "Green" until something better comes along!:

President Obama tells UAW workers that he will be buying a Chevy Volt when he leaves office in five years and just days later GM suspends production due to slow sales.

At the same time we have a “Green” President who is otherwise willing to keep Air Force One in the air to watch a basketball game.

Now that seems like a waste of gas!

Thursday decision making by the ISDA begins for naming the Greek sovereign debt default! (Jim Sinclair interview):

When the ISDA meets this Thurday its members will begin deciding on what to consider the “credit event” that is the Greece sovereign debt default. The decision could in fact trigger the CDS swaps that were taken out as insurance by the bond owners to protect them against the event of a bond default. So how can the ISDA come to any decision other than that this was a default? We will have to wait and see!
